Fall is such a beautiful time of year, and from your seat on the 51st annual New River Train Excursion, you will get to see the amazing fall foliage of the New River Gorge. This gorge is known as the Grand Canyon of the East and is a sight to behold. And this is just one highlight of our trip! We will stay 2 nights in the Amish/Mennonite community of Shipshewana where we will experience authentic Amish traditions including a Thresher meal in an Amish home. Lexington, Kentucky will be a treat of Southern Bluegrass food and fun. You will meet retired racehorses and the former home of Henry Clay as you revel in Southern hospitality. Along your entire trip you will see beautiful color and have the opportunity to try fabulous food as well as experience a guided safari at The Wilds, an innovative conservation center which houses Rhinos, Cheetahs, Giraffes and other rare and endangered species.
