Inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899 in New York City, "Newsies, the Musical" features Jack Kelly as he hawks the headlines day-in and day-out with countless other newsboys trying to save enough to make his dreams a reality. New York World publisher, Joseph Pulitzer realizes he can maximize profits by raising the price of the “papes” and does so without a word to the “Newsies.” Upon seeing Pulitzer’s greed, the newsboys protest and declare a strike against all the publishing giants. Realizing it will take more than his friends to make a difference, Jack rallies all the “Newsies” in New York City. Through courage, determination, and friendship the “Newsies” are ready to seize the day and take a stand.

From the Day Trippers comes the hilarious production of "Drinking Habits", All heaven is about to break loose at the Sisters of Perpetual sewing. Just don’t tell that to their teetotaling Mother Superior. For years Sister Philamena and Sister Augusta have been making grape juice for the poor and also wine to earn money to keep the convent afloat. When the wine unexpectedly wins a $500,000 prize local reporters Paul and Sally go undercover as a nun and priest to investigate. Their presence spurs paranoia throughout the convent that spies have been sent from Rome to shut them down. The Sisters keep the audience in stitches as the run their secret wine-making industry.
