  • What does "fully escorted" mean?

    A fully escorted tour includes a professional Tour Director, who will accompany the group throughout the tour. You'll have the peace of mind knowing that someone is there to handle all the details for an enjoyable trip.

  • What does "luggage handling" include?

    Tours that include luggage handling allow for one suitcase per person (50 lbs. maximum). We suggest that you also bring along a carry-on bag for medication & valuables that you can carry on your own.

  • Can I smoke on the motorcoach?

    We observe a no smoking policy on the motorcoach. Frequent stops will be made for your comfort.

  • Is my seat reserved on the motorcoach?

    Seats on the motorcoach are not reserved. Seat rotation will occur daily and all clients are expected to participate.

  • Will I need a passport if I travel to Canada?

    All U.S. citizens must carry a valid passport or passport card to enter and leave Canada or any other foreign country.

  • What happens if I don't show up for the tour or have to leave early?

    Any client failing to appear on the appointed day and time of departure will find their payment is non-refundable. Clients leaving the tour early will forfeit any fees payed.

  • I don't live in the town where the tour is departing. What are my options for pre- and post-tour lodging?

    Reduced lodging rates are available at Fargo Red Roof Inn (701) 281-8240 & Fargo MainStay Suites (701) 277-4627.
    Unless otherwise indicated, pickup occurs at the Visitors Center off of 45th at 2001 44th St S, Fargo, ND 58103. Those leaving cars must park diagonally facing the Red Roof Inn. Note that some tours may offer en route departure options, please see the tour brochure for additional information.

  • What should I wear?

    Comfortable, casual layered clothes are best. Comfortable walking shoes are important. Rain apparel is also a good idea. Other suggestions are a swimming suit, camera (including batteries, film or memory chip) and binoculars.
